In March 2003, four children were found scavenging in hotel dustbins by a niece of Sarah Hillman. Their story moved Sarah Hilman to action. One year later, Mama Upendo Children’s Home was opened.
Today, that act of compassion has grown into a movement impacting thousands of lives across kenya.
